The Mansfield Teen Center

To reach the Teen Center during the hours of operation, call 860.429-3015.

For general information call the Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department at (860) 429-3015 , hours are 8:15 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Wednesday, 8:15 am to 6:30 pm Thursday, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday.

The Mansfield Teen Center will be open throughout the school year, and will have adjusted hours for the summer.

Our Philosophy

To provide leisure opportunities, which contribute to the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the participants. Within a safe and supportive environment we encourage children of all ages and abilities to participate in all aspects of the program

Our Objectives

• To provide safe structured activities which encourage personal growth, leadership skills and teamwork.
• To provide unstructured activities which encourage individuals to explore areas of their own interest.
• To provide the opportunity for continuing teen input and decision making in the planning of programs.
• To provide the opportunity for teens to participate in teambuilding and adventure activities designed to build confidence and improve skills.
• To provide a supervised place for teens to go and "hang out."
