Global awareness is a sixth grade focus. Multicultural units and a day on ICE (Interdisciplinary Connections and Enrichment) provide opportunities to connect all curriculum with theme-related units that include reading and writing to learn, hands-on activities, and technology. Sixth grade students and teachers also enjoy a school week at Nature’s Classroom in September, experiencing independence, outdoor
education, and
team-building activities.
